Data2Bots, an IT Consulting Company is seeking Analytics Engineer trainees with deep knowledge and skills in Data Science/Analysis to join our talent pipeline and work with our data team to develop, optimise and maintain our organization's cloud data lake, data warehouse and data marts.. You will be responsible for bringing robust, efficient, and integrated data models and data products to life.
PROFILE
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, an engineering discipline or a related study
- At least 4 years of professional IT industry experience
- At least 2 years experience in the development of solutions that include data design/modelling, ETL technologies and Integration technologies.
- Real world experience in object-oriented programming using python
- Experience with Version control system using Git, and basic knowledge of the cloud AWS
- Practical experience in handling Big Data or other relational databases to manage multi-Terabyte scale data.
- Knowledge of reporting systems or analytic systems.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in ETL development using Python and SQL
- Good Knowledge of Software Development Standards and best practices
- Vast experience in DBT and Snowflake
- Previous Hands-on experience in the development of solutions that include data design/modelling, ETL technologies and Integration technologies.
- Excellent design and development history indicating expertise across the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Excellent Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing and data integration.
- Understand some data warehousing concepts such as (CDC, SCD)
- Act as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Analytical developments for Business
- Support the development of dashboards and automated reporting capabilities for process and product robustness
- Awareness of Big Data Solutions for un-structured and multi-structured data
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing Concepts and Data Warehouse Modeling
SOFT SKILLS
- Good understanding of Agile Methodology and Scrum Rituals
- Ability to work independently, think proactively and pay attention to details.
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced technical environment
- Energetic, motivated and team player
- Excellent communication skills in English – both written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
