Why is this role really critical to us?
Accountable of Integration, Order and Product Solution in Vodafone Mobile line of business and the respective IT Solutions that can be designed and developed internally and jointly with service providers, vendors and 3rd parties.
Build, lead and manage feasibility, design and software development life cycle phases including 3rd party and vendor activities to deliver end to end solution design, technical requirements and solution itself with effective management of processes and in line within agreed budgets, quality, performance and timescale.
Build, lead and manage DevSecOps organization, procedures and tools for the responsibility domain applications. DevSecOps organization will be responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 operational activities.
Accountable of scoping, requirement analyses about related solutions in Integration, Order and Product domain (Tibco, Oracle OSM, Federated Product Catalog, Kafka, Camunda, Apache Camel Framework)

Build, maintain, retain and grow strong solution delivery and operation teams
Lead the team providing objective setting, mentoring and career development
Determine the training needs for the division employee

Build effective relationships both within and outside the department; seek input from and maintain effective ongoing communication with others. Manage conflict to ensure least disruption to organization.
Communicate clearly, effectively internally, and externally with associates at all levels.
Analyse business vision and roadmap; create effective structures as a solution to current problem and potential coming problems; exercise good judgment.
Implement DevSecOps operating model to reach operational excellence and hence improve respective TNPS/NPS.
Determine the training requirements of the group, defines yearly training plans, and assures that the trainings are being performed.
Motivates team members to reach department goals which are mapping to overall Vodafone goals, while being a role model
Manage or establish a team compatible group’s targeted staffing profile as well as recruitment interviews and selection of FTE’s and 3rd party developers.
Ensures and promotes team spirit with collective method of operation and via social get-togethers.
Leads in projects in line with the needs of the institution, provides technical opinions and evaluations to decision makers, advises managers on building improvement and conducts research related to them.
You are just the person we ve been looking for, if you have:
Bachelor's degree from Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics and other related departments of Telecom or Banks is a must
15+ years of software analysis/design/development/engineering experience
8+ years of IT leadership experience as Functional Manager / Program Manager / Chapter Lead
Ability to lead multiple teams across multiple products and technologies
Significant experience in IT infrastructure, technologies, products and services
In depth understanding of the full software development lifecycle
Has a deep knowledge of software technology and development processes, tools and techniques, particularly Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, with an ability to coach within and outside of their team
Experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best engineering practices
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Experience and/or familiarity for below tools and technologies will be asset;
o Open source technologies such as Kafta, Apache Camel, Camunda and server side code integration using emerging databases such as Mongo DB or any No SQL DB
o Container based development (Docker), Openshift Technologies
o Java (Concurrency, JDBC, transactions)
o DevSecOps Tools
o Design Thinking
o Agile Delivery and Operations
